Terms of Service

Last updated: February 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mosquito Time website (mosquitotime.com) and the mosquito and tick control services provided by Mosquito Time ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

Service Agreement

Mosquito Time provides professional mosquito and tick control treatments for residential and commercial properties in Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County, Michigan. When you request a quote and approve the proposed service plan, you are entering into a service agreement with Mosquito Time.

Our services include but are not limited to:

  • One-time barrier spray treatments
  • Seasonal mosquito control plans (7 visits, April–October)
  • Event spray treatments for outdoor gatherings
  • Tick control add-on treatments
  • Eco-friendly mosquito control options

Pricing and Payment

Service pricing is based on your property size and the services selected. We provide a detailed quote before any work begins. You will not be charged for services you did not approve.

Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as communicated at the time of booking.

Prices are subject to change. Any price changes will be communicated to existing seasonal plan customers before their next scheduled visit. You may cancel if you do not agree with the updated pricing.

Scheduling and Access

We will schedule treatments at mutually agreed-upon times. For recurring seasonal plans, we will notify you before each scheduled visit. You do not need to be home for outdoor treatments, but we do require:

  • Access to the full perimeter of the property
  • Gates unlocked or access instructions provided in advance
  • Pets kept indoors during treatment and for 30 minutes after application

If we are unable to access the property for a scheduled treatment, we will attempt to contact you to reschedule. Repeated access issues may result in service interruption.

Cancellation Policy

One-time treatments: You may cancel a scheduled one-time treatment with at least 24 hours notice at no charge. A fee may apply for same-day cancellations.

Seasonal plans: Seasonal plans may be cancelled at any time. You will be responsible for payment of any treatments already completed. No refunds will be issued for treatments already performed. Unused treatments on a cancelled plan will not be billed.

Satisfaction Guarantee

Mosquito Time stands behind the quality of our work. If you experience excessive mosquito activity between scheduled treatments, contact us and we will provide a complimentary re-treatment of your property at no additional cost.

This guarantee applies to properties receiving treatment according to our recommended schedule. The guarantee does not cover mosquito activity caused by untreated neighboring properties, unusual weather events (e.g., heavy extended rainfall), or conditions outside our reasonable control.

Limitation of Liability

Mosquito Time provides mosquito and tick control treatments using EPA-registered products applied by licensed pesticide applicators. While our treatments significantly reduce mosquito and tick populations, we do not guarantee the complete elimination of all mosquitoes or ticks on your property.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mosquito Time shall not be liable for:

  • Mosquito or tick bites that occur despite treatment
  • Mosquito-borne or tick-borne illness contracted after treatment
  • Damage to plants or vegetation that are unusually sensitive to standard treatment products (please notify us of sensitive plants before treatment)
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services

Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific treatment in question.

Your Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate property information when requesting a quote
  • Inform us of any known sensitivities, allergies, water features, vegetable gardens, or beehives on the property
  • Keep people and pets off treated areas until the product has dried (typically 30 minutes)
  • Notify us of any concerns or issues promptly so we can address them
